Hospitality Ministry

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to welcome our guests who attend our worship services - regardless of whether or not it is on Sundays.  We refer to them as “Guest” because they are always welcome and our doors are always open to receive them.

We humbly refer to the passage in Hebrew 13:2, “Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers (especially among the family of believers – being friendly, cordial, and gracious), for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it”.  (AMP)

At a designated time during the worship service, the Ministry committee introduces the guest to our congregation and warmly welcomes them.  They are invited to consider joining our congregation if they are in search of a church home.

The Ministry is also available to extend hospitality in other areas when called on or needed.

MINISTRY GOAL

Our goal is to continue to greet our guest in a manner that will allow them to feel welcome and show them that our church may be a place of worship where they may desire to come and fellowship with us whenever the opportunity allows, and if they do not have a church home or maybe in search of a new home, to prayerfully consider joining us here at Emmanuel.
